Ardington walk

 

page 7 para 1 line 6 NB the route has been diverted northwards from the byway crossing of the Ginge brook while a high level bridge is being built over the deep ravine.  The path goes through the West Hendred churchyard.  Diversion signs are in place.

 

Ascott-under-Wychwood Walk

 

p15 line 3 add after 'Norman features'  'Immediately to the left at the entrance of the churchyard is the Neolithic (3000 BC) cist (a stone-sided coffin) originally from the nearby Ascott long barrow destroyed in a road-widening scheme'.
